How lucky am I to have had TWO baby showers? The one my mom and mother-in-law threw in Ohio for our family up there was amazing – read about it here. Then my wonderful and dear friends Cherish and Sam threw me one in Atlanta for my friends here. It was so beautiful and a ton of fun. Baby Harrison is already pretty spoiled! 😉The theme was “Tea Party” since I’m an avid tea lover and I thought this was perfect. My mom came down from Ohio to be a part of this shower as well, and helped Sam put together all the little tea sandwiches, and Sam put together the rest of the yummy food like fresh fruit, shrimp cocktail, and a tiered tray of macarons, scones, brownies and cookies. Yum!
We had the shower at Cherish’s beautiful mid-century modern home and the decorations were so pretty from fresh flowers to balloons to banners – and even a little “photo booth” style sign.
There were also fun games – baby food blind taste test (some of that food was NOT good, y’all!), a make-a-bib for Harrison station (my friends are so creative), and later baby Bingo during gift-opening.
A tea station rounded out the set up – peach rooibos, darjeeling, mint ginger herbal, and strawberry papaya green tea. Great flavor choices by Sam!
Most beautiful diaper cake made by Sam. <3
Me with Allison, Caroline, Jess, Amelia, Krista and Amanda. Thank you all for coming out to celebrate with me. 🙂
Bumpie!
Sean came at the end to load up the car and thank everyone – of course we had to get some fun photos and he had to taste test the baby food too. Haha!
Look at these awesome bibs – like I said, so creative!
Little souvenirs of tea bags that said “a baby is brewing.” LOVE.
And one of my mom and Vince playing with the balloons – their joyful expressions are just so fun!
Thank you so much to Sam and Cherish for such a special day, to my mom for coming down for it, and for all my friends/guests for joining to welcome Baby Harrison. So much love for all of you from all of us. <3
