Now in year two of the pandemic, travel and the associated food experiences that come with it remain a challenge. Similarly to last year, I still managed to have an incredible year of food in spite of everything going on in the world. In some ways, the bites are savored more now because opportunities to eat out feel fleeting. In any case, it’s hard to believe that this is my fifth year writing this article!
