Fresh Juice Friday: ABCs

Yup, taking you right back to the basics of the alphabet…as it relates to juicing, of course! Fresh juices are such a great way to start the day, and this recipe makes a rich, velvety and slightly sweet juice. And the color is so vibrant – it just looks delicious!

 ABCs juice contains ingredients that – you guessed it –  start with A, B, and C.

Apples, beets, carrots, and cabbage are the stars of this recipe. I always add some kind of leafy green – spinach, collards, kale, romaine, whatever I have on hand – to add even more nutrients to this tasty juice.

Ingredients
  1. 1 Asian Pear
  2. 1 Apple (green)
  3. 1 beet
  4. 1/4 of a head of cabbage
  5. 3 handfuls of leafy greens (collards, beet greens, kale, spinach, romaine, swiss chard, etc.)
Instructions
  1. Juice all ingredients, beginning with the greens and cabbage
  2. Pour over ice and enjoy immediately
  3. *Choose all organic ingredients if possible*
