Oh, cabbage. Such an overlooked juicing ingredient. I’ll admit, I was pretty nervous about juicing cabbage – the smell and taste can be quite pungent.
But I’m also adventurous and will try anything once…so I figured I might as well apply that to juicing cabbage!
Cabbage is very good for you and provides you with these vitamins and nutrients:
- Vitamin C
- Vitamin K
- Manganese
- Fibre (when eaten)
- Folate Acid
- Vitamin B6
- Glucosinolates
- Calcium
- Iron
- Potassium
- Phosphorus
- Thiamin
- Magnesium
That’s quite a list of things that are great for your body! Cabbage detoxifies your body, and the mineral selenium found in cabbage helps fight cancer, protects against heart disease, slows aging, and gives glowing skin.
Let’s juice some cabbage!
